FX DevOps Specialist you will join FX DevOps Chapter and Portfolio and Risk squad for the FX tribe to cover the in-house and vendor FX Trading applications across the regional FX business using your technical and business knowledge. Provide 2nd line DevOps and support for eTrading and Distribution systems.
Your responsibilities:
· Build up and implement CI/CD circuits and pipelines.
· Correlating with Global DevOps strategy and procedures.
· Supervise, maintain and support applications and their operating environments.
· Hunting outstanding issues and working with the appropriate parties to achieve resolution.
· Definitive process improvement opportunities and automating manual tasks.
· Cooperating with UNIX/Database/Network/Market Data/Infrastructure/Firewall teams during outages/Code Change.
· Strong experience and knowledge of FIX protocol.
· Liaising with internal, external customers, senior stakeholders and 3rd party vendors .
· FIX Investigating issues while trading and performing execution.
· Engage in bank wide DR/BCP/Isolation tests, Site Switches and work with other teams.
· Maintain of infrastructure changes perform business checkouts, releases, Failovers during weekend.
We require:
· Five + years of experience in DevOps or Technical Business support.
· Competent to work in a fast-paced environment and whilst under pressure.
· Good knowledge of DevOps life cycle .
· DevOps tools as part of the deployment pipeline (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Elastic, Jira ).
· Databases and writing SQL queries.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both external and internal end users.
· Working in the brunch of supporting banking/Finance applications.
· Excellent operating systems knowledge (Unix) and Ansible.
· Superb scripting skills (eg Shell Scripting, Python, Perl) .
· Knowledge of monitoring/scheduling tools such as Control M, CA, Dynatrace.
· Work experience with OpenShift will be a plus.
· Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or similar) would be a plus.
· Equivalent experience or bachelor's/University degree.
