Currently, for our client who is a global technology company, we are looking for a DataBase (Mysql)
Responsibilities are:
·Observing to SLAs.
· Skills in basic Performance Tuning and Monitoring using various tools such as AWR, TKPROF and Explain Plan.
· Answerability for building / maintaining a test environment.
· Deeply knowledge of Oracle Database Basic.
· Subordinating to the Track Lead / Team Lead
· Supporting team members in case of Issues/Technical Problems.
·Fixing technical issues.
· Provide that the processes are adhered to
· Maintains and improves customer and employee satisfaction.
· Sent in new technologies and design changes.
· Realization Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support.
· Using patches/upgrades to maintain security level Technical Requirements.
· Strong knowledge in cloning using cold backup, hot-backup and RMAN backup.
·Administration and Latest Features.
· Support instance parameters and system settings.
·Handling tickets / requests.
· Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA.
· Installation of Oracle Software/Database Pre-requisites.
· Transitory of databases using various tools such as SQL*Loader, Import/Export and Data pump.
·Using and Testing security patches to the databases. Administrating User Accounts.
· Quantity Planning in terms of Growth of Database. Ability of 10g/11g features as Data Pump, ASM and Flash back recovery.
· Accountable for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration.
· Automated File and Storage Management.
· Scheduling Database Backups, taking Logical Backups & Physical Backups.
·Availability Management for Databases.
· Database Resource Management and Task Scheduling.
·Implementing Database Security Policy.
Requirements are:
· Experience in PL/SQL and worked on ER Diagram.
· Skills of working with MS OFFICE.
· Knowledge of Other RDBMS is a Plus.
· Skillful communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written).
·Excellent documentation skills.
· Capability to handle unforeseen situations.
· Must drive HCL"s value and its methodology.
· Must have a good customer handling skill.
· Experience of working with Production systems.
· Strong knowledge of Database Migration, Installation,
·High level of acceptance.
· Strong knowledge on Cluster ware.
· Upgrades and Patching - Datacenter understanding.
